Celebrate this love with these fabulous cocktails that celebrate the very best craft wines from John's Home Brew, and PEI's berry fields and orchards! They are gorgeous, delicious and economical.

PEI Strawberry Fields Forever Frosé

Unforgettable with those Fresh PEI Strawberries

PEI Strawberry Fields Forever Frosé Recipe

INGREDIENTS

2 cups of your JHB crafted dry rosé or blush wine of choice, chilled

1 cup frozen or fresh PEI strawberries

1 cup frozen tropical fruit blend (mangoes, pineapple and passionfruit)

1/4 c. white rum

1/4 c. coconut rum

2 Tblsp. Island Tide Liqueur

1/2 tbsp. lime juice

1 tblsp Grand Marnier


6 rosé ice cubes



 DIRECTIONS

The night before put an ice cube tray in the freezer filled with your favorite rosé wine, and tiny slices of strawberries.

When Serving Frosé: In a blender, combine about half a bottle of  Rosé, 2 cup frozen fruit, the rums, Island Tide Liqueur Grand Marnier, lime juice. Blend until slushy.

If mixture is too watery, add more frozen berries and blend again.

If it is too thick, add lime sparkling water to desired consistency.

Add more Grand Marnier to sweeten if needed.

Serve immediately and garnish with fresh strawberries, rosé ice cubes, orange slice on rim, and fresh mint leaves.

Repeat with remaining ingredients.

Makes 4-6 servings.



PEI Singing Sands White Sangria: 

An Island beach fiesta in a Glass!

Say: Olé to Sangria!



Ingredients

750 bottle of your JHB Craft White Wine, (Sauvignon Blanc if citrusy flavor desired, Chardonnay if tropical flavor desired), chilled

1/4 cup white rum

1/4 cup triple sec

1/4 cup Ocean Pearl Vodka*

3 cups fresh PEI berries and fruits or frozen fruit blend as listed below:

1 c. PEI blueberries

1 c. sliced PEI strawberries

1/4 c. PEI blackberries to garnish glasses

1 PEI apple, chunked

1 lemon sliced and then quarter the slices

1 orange sliced and quartered

Fresh PEI mint leaves

Lemon or Lime or Pink Grapefruit Sparkling Water

Instructions

Combine all ingredients.Stir. You can serve immediately or for a more intense fruit flavor let it sit for a few hours in the refrigerator.

Add sparkling water and stir. Add sparkling water and garnish each glass with PEI blackberries and mint leaves.

PEI Divine Wine Spritzer With Fruit & Wine Ice Cubes:

Divinely Presented Refreshment

Fill two large wine glasses about half full with wine ice cubes. Make your cubes the night before and add PEI berries in each cube. These cubes will fortify and add glamour to your cocktail!

Add the PEI summer fruit of your choice such as blueberries, strawberries, peaches or cherries.

Pour three ounces of white wine into each glass, 1 tablespoon of Island Tide Liqueur*, and top off with about one ounce of tonic water, lime or grapefruit flavored sparkling water (or more if you desire).

For a Blueberry White Wine Spritzer: Add 1-2 tblsp. of Blueberry Liqueur* and fresh PEI blueberries in the wine ice cubes.

PEI Red Isle Sunset Sangria:

Glorious hues and flavours!​

INGREDIENTS

1 (750-mL.) bottle robust red JHB craft wine: Any Rioja Red, Dry Italian Red: like Shiraz, Temprañillo, Grenache.

1 c. orange juice

1/2 c. brandy

1/4 c. liqueur of choice (Grand Marnier preferred)

1/4 c. Island Tide Liqueur

1 orange, sliced

1 PEI apple, sliced

1 c. PEI blueberries

1 c. sliced PEI strawberries

1 (12-oz.) can tonic water (for an off dry sangria) or lime sparkling water

DIRECTIONS

In a large pitcher, mix together wine, orange juice, brandy, and liqueurs then stir in oranges, apples, blueberries, and strawberries.

Refrigerate until ready to serve, preferably 2 hours or overnight. Top off with sparkling water before serving.
